Northland is actively involved on a local, national and international level in community programs and ecological conferences whose goals are to promote organic and sustainable agriculture. For example, in 2006, Northland established a scholarship with our local high school to be awarded to a student pursuing organic agriculture. In conjunction with the Minnesota Food Association, we sponsor local Hmong gardening projects. We not only exhibit at conferences dedicated to organic and sustainable agriculture, Northland is a major sponsor and underwriter of these events.
Northland is committed to giving back to the community through our efforts to improve our environment and through financial contributions to organizations we believe have demonstrated a desire to improve our world.
