Northland's meals & grits are processed at state-of-the-art, Certified Organic or IP Certified mills, guaranteeing the integrity of all our organic and conventional products. Soy
Available in both Certified Organic and IP Non-GMO, and in low fat and full fat, IP Pure Soy Grits varieties are processed in a chemical free mechanical process, which eliminates the development of the offensive "grassy/beany" taste associated with traditional defatted soy grits. In processing, the beans are cracked in order to aspirate off the hulls before they are cooked in a unique mechanical system. After cooking, the meal has the oil mechanically expelled, leaving a soy meal that is milled into soy grits.
