IP Non-GMO Soy Lecithin:

IP Non-GMO Soy Lecithin is used in both conventional and organic food processing in the US, Canada, EU and other markets.  Organic food processing does not allow the use of genetically modified ingredients, and so requires Non-GMO lecithin products.  In the EU, Japan and other conventional and organic food markets, there are laws in place which require labeling food products that contain GMOs.  Consumers have demanded this to be able to make informed choices about the food they buy, and food processors in these countries generally stay away from GM ingredients because of the negative consumer reaction to the label.

Within in the US, the NOSB recently recommended keeping IP Non-GMO Soy lecithin in all forms, bleached or unbleached on the National List for use in organic food processing until an organic alternative becomes available.

 

IP Non-GMO Mixed Tocopherols:

A natural anti-oxidant especially appropriate for edible oils, meat products, essential oils, and natural flavorings.
